Receiving warranty service

COROS products are manufactured to the highest quality standards. However, in the rare event that there is a quality defect we stand behind our products. COROS watches include a two-year warranty from the date of purchase. Accessories are covered by a 90-day warranty.

If you encounter a problem with your product due to a manufacturing defect, COROS will help replace your product or fix the problem.

COROS allows a refund up to 14 business days according to the law. It is not possible to receive a refund for a used product. The product must be returned in its original packaging and in its original condition. COROS does not cover shipping costs for returned products. The approval takes up to five business days for the refund to appear in your bank account. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Exchange/credit will be given up to 14 business days.

An opened product cannot be returned/exchanged.

COROS Wearables Inc. ("COROS") warrants that the product (defined below) to be delivered below to the original purchaser ("Original Purchaser") from COROS.CO.IL or to an authorized distributor of COROSISRAEL ("Authorized Reseller") and which is found to be free of material and performance defects that adversely affect the performance The product in normal use, in accordance with the conditions listed below. This limited warranty is valid only for the original purchaser, is non-transferable and does not include products or used products not purchased from COROS.co.IL or an authorized reseller.

Products covered and length of warranty

For the purposes of this warranty, "Products" and "Product" shall mean separate products of COROS as described below with the following prefix:

third. COROS VERTIX (WVTX-)

3) Accessories

A. Remotes, device, watch straps and other items that are not COROS helmets and watches

Limited warranty period

The length of the warranty is limited to two years from the original date of purchase for all products except accessories. Accessories will be guaranteed for 90 days.

Nothing in the instructions or information about the product shall be construed to imply any express warranty of any kind with respect to the products. No agent, employee, dealer, representative or marketer is authorized to modify or extend this limited warranty or make binding representations or claims, whether in advertising, presentations or otherwise, on behalf of COROS regarding the products or this limited warranty.

Nothing in this limited warranty affects any statutory rights of consumers that cannot be waived or limited by contract. This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary from state to state or state to state.

If any part of this limited warranty is determined to be illegal or unenforceable, such partial illegality or unenforceability shall not affect the enforceability of the remainder of the limited warranty.

 

  • What is not covered by this limited warranty applies only to products used in accordance with this limited warranty and COROS' published documentation, and does not cover:

  • Products damaged outside of factory use and/or not in factory condition.

  • Products with a change to the serial number and / or factory identification characters, whether removed, transferred, forged, removed, defaced, altered or rendered illegible.

  • Damage to the body of the product whether cut, scratched, twisted, bent, cracked, dented or broken.

  • Any damage to the components, hardware and/or composition of the products includes damage caused by neglect, abuse, accidents, misuse or abnormal physical, electrical or electromechanical stress.

  • Any hardware, components and/or assemblies that are missing from the product are missing.

Cosmetic damage considered outside of reasonable use caused by deep scratches, cuts, cracks, dents, discoloration, neglect, shedding or product failure.

Products that are exposed to liquid, liquid residue or excessively humid environments resulting in rust, moisture, dampness, stains, corrosion or liquid spills on components, hardware or electronics. Burns or ignition of components as a result of an accident or liquid spillage.

Direct use of paint, leaving the power supply in the oil, use of adhesives on any part of the product, use of soldering to the product, electronics and/or component modification.

Exposure to cigarette tar residue, moisture, sand, dirt or excessive waste.

Products that do not work due to accident, collision with an object or tool, use of excessive force, neglect, exposure to fire or improper heat, flooding, dirt, windstorms, lightning, earthquakes, extreme weather conditions, force majeure, theft, blown fuses, Improper use of any electrical source or overloaded electrical circuits.

Defects or damages resulting from use of the Product with a third party in conjunction with or connection to accessories, products, software or secondary peripherals not approved for use with or approved by COROS.

Defects or damages resulting from improper testing, operation, maintenance, installation, service or adjustment not issued or approved by COROS.

Use of inadequate shipping packaging or use of inadequate packaging materials, resulting in damage to the product during transit with the original purchaser's courier or second hand.

Products purchased from unauthorized resellers or dealers, including without limitation online marketplaces such as eBay Amazon  and online auction sites and/or other marketplaces. If you are unsure whether a reseller is an authorized reseller, please contact COROS for confirmation.

Except as expressly set forth below, your sole option for a defective product shall be repair or replacement of such defective product in accordance with the terms and conditions of this limited warranty.

For products not purchased on the Site, refund claims, if any, are subject to the authorized reseller's return policy and must be handled using the authorized reseller's original return policy. COROS will not honor any refunds offered through authorized resellers.

COROS does not cover shipping costs for returned products.

To receive service under this limited warranty, you must contact COROS to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization ("RMA") number before returning the product to COROS in accordance with the COROS RMA process. Please contact COROS technical support 

Product warranty replacement

COROS reserves the right to verify the validity of your warranty and your request for warranty service.

COROS reserves the right to charge shipping and service charges for any product that is defective or returned to COROS and requires repair or replacement or is not covered under this limited warranty. Service fees vary based on the actual material and the cost of labor reasonably necessary to replace modified parts or return them to their original manufacturer condition.

Products submitted for RMA will be repaired and returned or replaced with a product that has been thoroughly tested and has equal or greater performance.

This COROS limited warranty begins from the date the product was originally purchased, as verified by a proof of purchase issued and/or approved by an authorized reseller.

All products returned to original purchasers or second-hand purchasers from the COROS RMA department are products that have been thoroughly inspected. Spare parts and/or products may include new and refurbished parts or products and are only obligated until the end of the original warranty period. Replacement parts and/or products will meet the standard of performance and reliability of a new product or part of the same model, however, such products and/or parts may have small scratches, small dents, other cosmetic defects or noticeable use.

If an RMA is required within 30 days of the original purchase of a new-in-box product, a new-in-box OEM replacement will be shipped to the original purchaser in return, subject to availability.

Shipping to COROS for warranty

Warranty replacement delivery

COROS will ship to the confirmed address once your RMA is approved.

If your warranty replacement cannot be delivered because the address is invalid or delivery is not made due to lack of access, no known address, security obstacles or fenced areas, the customer will be responsible for re-delivery or re-delivery fees which will vary depending on your area. You must contact COROS prior to shipping for assistance in avoiding this charge. COROS is not responsible for packages delivered to an outdated address.

If the product is returned to COROS due to non-delivery, you will be responsible for paying any additional shipping charges for reshipment. COROS encourages you to check your shipping address before submitting any RMA request.

All RMA replacements will indicate "Warranty Exchange" on the package to help avoid taxes, duties and/or brokerage fees through customs or otherwise. 

Mail is not recommended for shipping any COROS product. If your package is received with physical damage, the claim cannot be processed due to postal service limitations, and the package will be returned to the sender with no alternative options.

We reserve the right to update this limited warranty

We have the option and will continue to make policy changes over time. Be sure to read this document carefully and check for updates. COROS reserves the right to change this policy without notice. Last updated August 29, 2018
